The Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) grant has empowered St. James Town Community of Arts (SJTCA) to overcome pandemic-related challenges and emerge stronger, more connected, and better equipped to serve our community.
Over the past two years, the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted nearly every aspect of our operations. From unexpected rental costs and communication barriers to the absence of in-person performances and an outdated website, we faced obstacles that tested our resilience as an organization.
Thanks to OTF’s support, we have implemented meaningful changes that not only address these challenges but also set the stage for long-term growth, sustainability, and impact.
What We’ve Achieved
A Brand-New Website
Our redesigned website is now a powerful tool for:
- Real-time communication with students, parents, instructors, and volunteers.
- Engaging donors and sharing updates about our programs.
- Streamlining operations with easy access to financial information and data analytics.
Training for Independence
With training funded by OTF, our team can now independently update the website, ensuring it stays relevant and effective. This allows us to adapt quickly to changing needs and better connect with our community.
Stronger Operations
Improved communication and planning tools have streamlined how we run programs across multiple venues, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
The Impact
These changes mean we can better deliver free, high-quality arts programs to the children and youth of St. James Town. From music lessons to our summer camp, we’re creating opportunities that inspire creativity, build confidence, and strengthen community connections.
Thank You, Ontario Trillium Foundation
We are deeply grateful to OTF for their unwavering support. Their investment has empowered us to rebuild, grow, and continue making a difference in the lives of our community members.
